Anna had fun braiding the girls hair and putting flowers in it. I think she did a great job! What an artist I have. Here is what it looked like!
2 cans sweetened cond. milk
12 cups lemon juice
- In a small saucepan or the microwave, melt 6 tablespoons of butter.
- Place about 24 graham crackers in a plastic bag. Roll with a rolling pin until finely crushed. This may be done in small batches.
- Measure 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs into a medium bowl.
- Add 1/4 cup of sugar to the graham crackers.
- Add the melted butter.
- Stir or blend together with your hands.
- Press into the pie plate or other pan.
- To pre-bake the pie crust, bake for 8 to 10 minutes in a preheated 350 degree F. oven.
- 3 cups plain soy milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch salt
Put the soy milk and sugar in a sauce pan over medium-low heat. Stir constantly until the volume is reduced to 1 cup. Take off the heat and add your vanilla and salt. Store in the fridge. This is only good for 7 days, then should be thrown away
I love studying personality types! As a matter of fact, somehow the topic came up this evening, and I was involved in conversation about it for 3 hours! It was so interesting!
If you are wondering, I think I am an ESTP. What is your type?
We went to the park a few days ago with Granddaddy and Grandmommy. Since the weather was so nice we decided to go all out and cook burgers on the grill. About the time we put the second batch on, it started raining. But that didn’t stop us! Take a look at this!!
Today I got an opportunity to take pictures of my favorite husband! I got carried away and took a lot. Here are just a few of them.
I just updated to WordPress 2.8!! I am current with WordPress now! Yes, me, Tabetha! The one who is always a year behind everyone else! Not this time! And the best part? I did it all by myself with no help from my guru husband!!
Oh wait! WordPress 2.9 is already out? You’re kidding, right? 😀
Peter had to go to the eye doctor on Wednesday. Because he loves entertaining people so much and just plain being silly, I thought it would be wise to have a talk with him before hand to help him understand that this is a time to be serious.
After our talk, I was fairly certain that he understood and was ready to face the eye doctor with all the seriousness he could muster up. Evidently he couldn’t muster up quite a lot! He responded with, “Mom, that’s a long time to be serious!” 😀
Ready for another acrostic? I’m on a roll!

Well, since seven is the number of completeness, I decided to complete my series on our Christmas this year with a seventh post. Here are a few pictures of us enjoying Christmas together as a family! Hope you had a great Christmas 2008 and are very productive in this newborn year.
