Hoping to Be Remembered

After being away from my family for over 2 years, I finally got to see at least some of them. My mom and sister couldn’t stand it anymore and came to see us! We got to visit with them for the whole month of March! We had a blast together!

My sister had her two daughters, ages 3 and 4 with her. I know this is probably wishful thinking, but I am hoping they are old enough to remember me next time I see them (in about 9 months). What do you think? Is it likely?

A Radio Substitute

If you spend a good bit of time online and have never heard of Pandora, it is high time you got acquainted with it.

Pandora is a free online site that allows you to choose what type of music you want to listen to. You train “stations” to play the types of music you are in the mood for. We have a Christmas station, a slow station, a fast station, an instrumental only station, and several more.

It takes a bit of time to train your station(s), but once it is trained you can just turn it on and enjoy. It is so cool to have music at your fingertips all the time! Did I mention that it is a free site? Go ahead…try it!

Happy 55th Birthday, Mama!

Mama’s birthday is not until tomorrow, but we took time to sit together tonight and look at old pictures from her childhood. In celebration of Mama’s birthday, I will post a picture of her from way back when! She is on the left.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAMA!!!

Ten Years and Counting

I married Luke ten years ago, and ten years later, I have no regrets. I’d marry him again in an instant!

The modern gift for the 10th anniversary is diamonds. I cannot give Luke real diamonds, so here is the next best thing!

Our love is more valuable than the finest of diamonds! I love you, my favorite man on earth!

Help Me Multi-Task

I mentioned recently that I have discovered that normal for me has become much more busy than it used to be. I have gotten rid of those things that are not necessary in my life, but there still does not seem to be time to do it all well.

So, I decided to get some ideas from my readers. How do you manage all the jobs you do through out your day or week? What is your secret to getting it all done and feeling good about what you’ve done?

The Matching Girls

Bethany and Candice got matcing dresses for their birthdays. I am hoping these dresses will still fit them in January, when my brother-in-law gets married. Don’t you think they make perfect little dresses to wear to a wedding?

Send Your Tea Bag Now

Today is the day to send in your tea bag. In short, the purpose is to let it be known that you are against a lot of government intervention.

Although the tea bag was supposed to be sent today, the goal was to get the bag to the government office by April 15. Chances are it will arrive on time if you send it on the 2nd. So go ahead. Send your tea bag in. Don’t say “I’ll do it later.” Go do it now.
