Candice got to taste watermelon for the first time this summer! She tasted every part of the watermelon including the rind! What do you think? Did she enjoy it?

Yesterday you saw Candice pretty in pink. Today it is Bethany’s turn!

A few weeks ago, I got camera happy with Bethany and Candice while keeping them in the nursery at church. They are both pretty in pink. Today we will look at my favorites of Candice.

I caught Phillip’s kind helpfulness (without being asked) on camera. He is helping his younger sister put her shoes on. What a little blessing!

On the way home from the park last week, we allowed the kids to do something that normally is not allowed. Since their Granddaddy was back there with them supervising the chaos, we allowed them to play with a ball in the van! Here are half the resulting pictures.

Because I know you love my kids so much, I decided to share their fun at the park with you. Seriously, this is the best place to keep track of pictures. I hope you can enjoy them with me.

While at the park on Monday, I got an opportunity to take a few nature shots. These scenes are fun to take pictures of and demand the acknowledgment of God’s presence! Here are my favorites!

Happy Birthday, Phillip!!

Ever wish you could still get away with this?

My family loves apples. We love to eat them, we love to play games about them, and we love to play on them. If I had been on top of it, I could give you a picture of them doing all three at once, but it is never good to eat an apple while you are playing on one because you might take a bit of the wrong apple (is that what happened)?

Since I can’t provide you with a picture of all three at once, I will at least give you proof that they are indeed apple fans. Here goes!

First, we took pictures of them all on the couch.

Because all the shirts are the exact same size, we had to so some shots of the kids standing up, so you can see the lenght of the shirts on each child.

At this point, Candice decided to show off by running up, smiling for the camera, and then running away! (Notice, she isn’t wearing a black shirt. It would have become a baby  swallowing monster on her! Maybe in a few  years)!

Then we decided to get a shot of each child individually. Gotta thoroughly show off those OS X shirts (lovingly called “the X shirts”)!!

I believe I met Baby Black Beard tonight. She is about two and a half feet tall, with blond hair, blue eyes, and a black mustache and beard! Don’t believe me? Here is my proof!

No, we did not feed her mud! She happened to have her first taste of black beans tonight. Nobody was impressed but Candice. She even went for seconds! Wanna see what she thought about the bowl I served her in?

Several years ago, I suddenly noticed and became in awe of the seasonal change from winter to spring. Watching the world brighten up is an amazing process!

This year I have pictures to show how quickly spring happened here in Rhode island. I took some pictures of the tree outside our house exactly 2 weeks ago. Here is what the tree looked like.

Luke already posted this picture of our family a week or so ago. Now it is my turn.

Isn’t it interesting that kids hate the idea of going to bed, yet they are happy to pretend to go to bed? Here are some pictures I caught while my sister was visiting with her kids. Don’t they look like they are having a blast?!

We were just given some pictures of our kids from last summer, and what good are pictures without sharing them? Today you get to see Phillip at VBS and at the annual fun fair that followed.

After being away from my family for over 2 years, I finally got to see at least some of them. My mom and sister couldn’t stand it anymore and came to see us! We got to visit with them for the whole month of March! We had a blast together!

My sister had her two daughters, ages 3 and 4 with her. I know this is probably wishful thinking, but I am hoping they are old enough to remember me next time I see them (in about 9 months). What do you think? Is it likely?

Bethany and Candice got matcing dresses for their birthdays. I am hoping these dresses will still fit them in January, when my brother-in-law gets married. Don’t you think they make perfect little dresses to wear to a wedding?

Anna turned nine last month! I can’t believe she is already half-way to adulthood!! In some ways it is cool, but I am not ready for her to be grown yet! I mean, I could be a grandmother in another 10 years or so!! Huh?!? Me?!?

Anyway, here are some pictures of my half grown daughter.

All of my children have been early birds at an early age, but most of them started sleeping in as they got older. Peter has always been an early bird and probably always will be.

Family night is a time when it is unfortunate to be an early bird. Peter is always the first one to wear out, but he tries so hard to stay awake so as not to miss anything. This particular family night he did not quite make it.

At our last  grill-out of the summer/fall season, I decided to take pictures of the fire to see how they turned out. What do you think?
